Happy 34 year anniversary to this October 1976 issue of Sesame Street!
Here it is. I had not seen this until just some months ago - have many of you seen
this? I thought this was not too interesting....
....until I noticed the shape of the moon. A perfect crescent, or quarter
moon.
Here is a picture of the traditional symbol of Islam:
Okay, there is an obvious similarity between the moon and symbol of Islam,
which has correspondingly been blamed for the events of 9/11/01 without any proper investigation.
This is not the first case of potential warnings (or mockery) of the 9/11 events before
9/11 happened by media via magazines, cartoons, T.V., and movies.
The Simpsons had this image in a few frames during an episode in 1997 entitled "New York vs. Homer Simpson":
Back to Sesame Street. Sesame Street was originally aired by the Children's
Television Workshop (CTW) which has since become the non-profit Sesame Workshop.
Major funders to the Sesame Workshop include the following:
Ford Foundation - Wal-Mart Foundation - Turner Broadcasting - Turner Entertainment - Proctor Gamble - Walt
Disney Company - Military Child Education Coalition - Military OneSource - Boeing - and so many more. Many of the people behind
these front groups are power-hungry zealots who have done all they can to control their monopolies, their markets, and their
customers.
These are just some of the pieces to the
puzzle that have been warped into our brains since we were kids on the street, or sesame street for that matter.
